The Trinity County Courthouse, built in 1914, is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. In 2008, the Trinity County Courthouse was awarded a grant through the Texas Historical Commission's Texas Historic Preservation Program for the restoration of this magnificent building. The restoration is scheduled to begin May 2009. Visit the site at 162 West First Street in Groveton, Texas.
