Mrs. Nann C. Neal, age 46, b May 1854 in AR, her
father in VA and her mother in AL. She was a Hotel
Keeper in the city of Carthage. She was a widow, had
given birth to three children, but only two were alive
at the time of the census. In the household with her
were Frazer, son, age 21, b Mar 1879 in TX, his father
in AL, his mother in AR. He was a teamster by trade.
Lois C., daughter, age 19, b Jan 1881 in TX, her
father in AL, her mother in AR. There were nine
boarders in the hotel at the time of the census. These
boarders included the owner of a general merchandise
store, two barbers, a music teacher and a life
insurance agent.
