Zell Dean Alfred

Zell Dean Alfred, 91, of Orange, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital, Orange. Born to Jesse Allen and Emma Virginia Clary Dean, in Taylor, Arkansas, she was an Orange resident since 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orange, Women's Propeller Club, The Women's Club of Orange and The Shriners Widows Organization. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 1, 2003, until service time at 4:00P.M. in the Dorman Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Barry Bradley, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be Thursday, October 2, 2003 at Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James C. Alfred. Surviving relatives include her sister, Mary Margaret Lewis of Shreveport, Louisiana.
