Bill Turner

Bill Turner, 67, of Orange, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009 in Orange. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 26, 2009 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Brad Bickham. Interment will follow in the King Cemetery in Hartburg. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home. Born on August 19, 1941 in Carrollton, Mississippi to Eugene Clinton Turner and Eva Mae (Goss) Turner and he was a resident of the Orange area since 1955. He owned Turner Roofing working as a roofing contractor and he was of the Baptist faith. Bill enjoyed old western movies, hunting, fishing, being in the outdoors and he was a wonderful husband, brother and father. Preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Paula Janice Turner; his five brothers, E. C. Turner, Richard Quincy Turner, Cleveland Lewis Turner, LeRoy Turner and J. T. Turner and his four sisters, Elise Bishop, Vivian Bowers, Clara Casiano and LaVerne Rickles. Those who will most cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Diane Turner of Orange; his daughters, Belinda Lemen of Orange and Billie Jo Turner of Mannford, Oklahoma; his sisters, Helen Nester and her husband J. D. of Carrolton, Mississippi, Shirley Haymon and her husband Harold of Bridge City; his brothers, Homer Turner and his wife Connie of Orange and Grover Turner and his wife Theresa of Orange; his grandchildren, Sam Lemen, Race Lemen, Terryn Lemen, Brittany Tilley, Dalton Tilley and Katlin Tilley and his great granddaughter, Destiny Lemen
