Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2004 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Orange, with the Reverend Joseph P. Daleo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. and a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Mr. Verrett a native of Orange, TX, lived in Texas City for twenty-three years working for Monsanto/Sterling Chemical. He had lived in West Orange, the past six years working for C.D.I. Engineering/Bayer Orange Plant.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Judy Verrett and daughter, Elane Verrett, both of West Orange; parents, Earl and June Verrett of Orange; two brothers, Jimmy Verrett and wife, Annette of Orange; Leo Verrett and wife, Sharon of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Linda Vercher and husband, Paul of West Orange; Mary Potter and husband, Walter of Fort Worth, Carol Cunningham and husband, Sam of Allen; numerous nieces and nephews.
