Billie R. Scott LaTour, 69, of Orange, died January 27, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2004, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Lynn Ashcraft, pastor of North Orange Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A native of Lott, Texas, Mrs. LaTour was a resident of Orange since 1947. She was a photographer for All State Studio for 18 years before becoming a bookkeeper at Danny's Food Center. She was also a member of North Orange Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Terry J. LaTour, and brother, Henry V. Scott, Jr., she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Tim McCord of Orange; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Vicki LaTour of Houston; brothers, Edward L. Scott of Orangefield, Guy R. Scott of Port Acres, and Carey Roberts of Orange; grandchildren, Krystal McCord Arsenault and her husband, Aaron, and Sean McCord; and great- grandson, Michael Arsenault.
