ALLEGED MURDERERS ARRESTED.

They Are Charged with Killing and
Robbing the Superintendent of a Mine.

CHILDRESS, Tex., May 26-- Harry Ginn
and C J Watson, were arrested at Matador
Friday night, charged with the killing of George
W Richards, superintendent of the Carthage
mine in Socorro county, New Mexico, May 15.
Richards was robbed of $4000 when killed
Ginn and Watson were in possession of about
$2800 of money when arrested and $400 was
found buried close to the Carthage mines. Ginn
was formerly a cowboy on the Matador ranch in
Motley county, Tex., but last year was a butcher
at Carthage, New Mexico. They were arrested
by Mr. Robinson, sheriff of Socorro county,
New Mexico, who will take the prisoners to
Carthage by to-day's northbound train. A
reward of $2500 was offered for the capture
of Ginn and Watson.
