Every Monday the Cameron Lions Club meets at Noon at the Cameron Chamber of Commerce.
Every 2nd Monday, the Yoeman Band Boosters meet at the Yoe High Band Hall, next to the Performing Arts Center. Membership is $10 a person or $20 per family; with membership you recieve a yard sign supporting the Yoe High Band.
Every Tuesday the Rockdale Rotary Club meets at Noon at the New Salem Club in Fair Park.
Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:30 AM, Seniors are invited to Bea's Kitchen for free blood sugar and blood pressure checks. Bea's Kitchen is located at 101 East Main Street in Cameron.
Every Tuesday & Friday of the week come down to Downtown Cameron for a look at the Farmer's Market from 8 AM to Noon. For more information about the Farmer's Market and how you can be apart of this great group, contact the Cameron Chamber of Commerce or call them at (254) 697-4979.
Every second Tuesday the Rockdale Historical Society meets at 7 PM at the Depot in Rockdale.
Every other Wednesday the Rockdale Lions Club meets at Noon.
Every Wednesday the Cameron Rotary Club meets at Noon at the All Saints Episcopal Church.
Last Saturday of every month
the Senior Citizens Group of Milano sponsors a County Jamboree!
This event takes place at the Senior Center in Milano at 7 PM.
There is no charge for this event but refreshments are available
for a small fee.

5 Market Day - Join us every third month on the first Saturday in Rockdale for Market Day! Along with Market Day there is Sale on the Grounds at Tisket a Tasket!5 Annual Buckholts School Reunion and Homecoming - Starts at 10 AM at the Buckholts SPJST Hall. BBQ lunch catered by Circle S BBQ in Cameron, serving starts at 11:30 AM and plates are $8.
11-12 Milam County Nature Festival -Wilson-Ledbetter Park. Friday evening has activities, discovery walks, speakers, outdoor nature video and dedication of bird sanctuary. On Saturday, educational family activities, exhibits and sample some food. Come out and discover the El Camino Real de los Tejas National Heritage Trail. 13 - BBQ Brisket & Sausage Dinner - Boy Scout Troop 752 of Cameron is holding a fundraiser for $8 a plate. Serving time from 11 AM to 1 PM at Bea's Kitchen in Cameron, to-go plates will be available.
19 1st Annual Miss Juneteenth Pagent - Cameron High School Auditorium at 6 PM. Young girls ages 7-18 years old are allowed to enter the pagent. Three age groups: Little Miss (7-10), Junior Miss (11-13) and Teen Miss (14-18). Complete an application with proof of age (birth certificate) copy of most recent report card, must be a resident of Cameron, 5x7 headshot photo and a $25 non-refundable application fee. 19 Rockdale Youth Football Sign-ups - Rockdale Texans sign-up will be from 9AM to Noon at the Rockdale City Park. Cheerleaders are asked to sign-up as well at this time. First practice is scheduled for Monday, August 2nd at 5:30 PM at the Rockdale Jr. High School. For more information, please call (512) 430-2695.
