16-20 Reserved season football tickets
- Will be sold for the Yoe High football games for those that held
season tickets last year. $25 per seat and sell times are 8:30 to Noon
and 1-3 pm at the Yoe High Principal's office. After August 20th,
reserved tickets to be sold to the public.
18 Club Scout Signups - Held during Meet the Teacher Night at Ben Milam Elementary School from 5-6:30pm. Brochures will be available.
18 Cameron Area Ministerial Alliance Free Movie Night
- At the Yoe High Performign Arts Center. Movie to be shown is rated
PG-13, "To Save A Life" will be shown to high school students, parents,
caregivers and educators.
21 The Cameron Thirft Shop Sale
- From 9am to 1pm. Each customer will be given a bag to fill up with
clothing or bedding for only $2! Money raised will benefit the
replinshment of the pantry. Hotdogs will be offered to those that
bring $1 or one canned good item to the store, as well as water for a
donation.

22 Annual Marak Homecoming Picnic
- Located at SS Cyril & Methodius Church in Marak. Mass will be
offered at 10:15 am, dinner at noon and games to start at 1 pm! Plates
are $8 and include: fried chicken and sausage plates with the
trimmings. Etertainment by the Vrazels Polka Band from 12:30 to 3:30
pm and auction at 4pm - come out and join us!
24 Milam County Republican Party
- Kick's off election season at 6pm at the City Park in Cameron.
Republican Women of Milam County will hold their annual Old-Fashinoned
Rally in the Park! Free hot dogs, ice cream and lemonade will be
provided along with patroitic music by the C.H. Yoe High School Band.
Speakers expected are: U.S. Rep. John Carter; Texas State Sen. Steve
Ogden; Dr. Charles Schwerner, candidate for State House; and Dr. Marsha
Farney, candidate for State Board of Education

Horseshoe Club to host tournment for Eric Balch family. Located at the
Cameron Ballpark Pits on CR 240. Entry fee is $20, signup begins at 11

Kick-off Rallies to sign girls and volutneers up during September in
Cameron, Milano & Rockdale. Registration is open to girls from age
K-12 with $12 registration fee. Cameron Rally (8th) - First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall from 6-8pm Rockdale/Thorndale (14th) - Girl Scout House at 412 Murray St. in Rockdale from 6-8pm
Milano Rally (15th) - Milano Community Center at 303 Ave. "E" in Milano from 6-8pm
