Funeral services were held on Oct. 15 at West Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Ryan officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. She was born Aug. 22, 1924 in Jackson, Ky. to Will Press Fugate and Dulcena Fugate. She married Robert Lewis Lee on July 9, 1947 in Ashland, Ky. Soon thereafter they moved to Mansfield, Ohio. In 1962 they moved to Carlsbad, N.M. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Gloria Jean Burkham as well as numerous brothers and sisters including, Ben Fugate, Ellen Reddick, Stella King, Cora Sarvey, Henry Fugate, John Fugate and William Fugate. She is survived by son, Ronald Lewis Lee and wife, Gladys, of Cameron; son-in-law, Charles Burkham Sr. of Carlsbad; brother, Harlon Fugate and wife, Faye of Carlsbad; sister, Dove Fugate Ballard of Carlsbad; grandchildren, Paula Birmingham and husband, Scott, of Melissa, Texas, Melinda Benedictos and husband, Dale, of Carlsbad, Charlie Burkham Jr. of Carlsbad, Robert Monroe Lee and wife, Roz, of Betrom, Jim Daniel Lee of Georgetown and step-grandchildren Craig Dohnalik of Bryan and Jeff Dohnalik of Granite Shoals. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Josh Benedictos of Carlsbad, Dillan and Gage Lee of Bertram, and step-great grandchildren, Taylor and Barrett Dohnalik, both of Bryan, and Darius and Jeff Dohnalik Jr, both of Granite Shoals. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Carlsbad, Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. Pallbearers were Charlie Burkham Jr., Scott Birmingham, Dale Benedictos, Gardner Fugate, Kenneth Fugate and Dean Chester. The Cameron Herald Published November 1, 2007
