Funeral services were held March 19 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with the Rev. John Roark, retired, of the San Gabriel Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed in the Lilac Cemetery near Sharp. Lamb was born Oct. 12, 1943 to Metodey Ciril and Cecelia Veronica (Dube) Fronek. She was a cook at the Granger Nursing Home and then at Johns Community Hospital in Taylor. She married Roy Lamb Aug. 9, 1969 in Cameron. She was a member of San Gabriel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lamb; parents and brothers, Emil and Billy Fronek. Survivors include sons, Charles Parker of Rockdale; Robert Parker and Dwayne Lamb, both of Taylor and Jimmy Parker of Rogers; step-sons, Royce Lamb of Caldwell; Roger Lamb of Georgia and Ronnie Lamb of Gustine; brother, Henry Fronek of Houston; sisters, Georgie Cockrum of Temple and Cecelia Hamm of Weiser, Id.; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
