Can You Identify The People in This Photo?
My name is Sandra Watts Ross. I am a descendent of James Franklin Scurlock and Rebecca Jane Criner from Grandview, and from Joseph M. Watts and Mary L Hughes (Hughs) Watts. My Great Grandmother was Lola Scurlock Watts her mother was Catherine Elizabeth Gunn. my Great Grandfather was Senator William E Watts. When my Great Aunt Mary Watts Chrisman Long died she had among her possessions photos. I am trying to identify some of these family members. Perhaps someone can help. This photo appears to have been taken after gas heaters were common (they were invented in 1881) because there is a gas heater in the photo. Also note the extensive book collection on the mantle. The photo appears to have been taken around Christmas.The people in the photo appear to be elderly so they may be from the Scurlock, Gunn, Criner, Watts, or Hughs families. I would love to have any input you or you readers have.
