James Gordon Sams

James Gordon Sams died at Johnson County Memorial Hospital, Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas, on January 11, 1974, at fifty-three years of age. He had lived thirty years in Cleburne. His current residence was 411 West Lone Star, Cleburne, Texas. He was a machinist for the Santa Fe Railroad.

The son of Samuel Bailey Sams and Esta Lee Glasscoe Sams, he was born on September 8, 1920, in Texas. He died of a myocardial infarction and cardiovascular disease.

Burial was made at Rose Hill Cemetery, Cleburne, Texas, on January 13, 1974, with Dillon Emmert Funeral Home in charge.
